I've had this for nearly a year now and use it daily not only to sleep on but to sit on, I'm using it as I type this with a remote keyboard on a big screen HDTV. I live in northern North Dakota and during the dead of winter I spend most of the day on the computer sitting on this mattress. The foam is extraordinary. Moisture passes through it and doesn't absorb body or sweat odor. It has an excellent resilency and 'feel' and it doesn't lose it's resilency over time, grow a 'dead' spot. Each of the three compartments has a zipper so you can rotate the pads when you wash the cover. I do this every month. After a year of heavy use the foam cushioning still feels like the day it arrived. Really quite extraordinary. Very highly resommended. I bought this foam bed along with the Traditional Japanese Futon Mattress for out-of-town company. Though the Traditional model is much softer and far more comfortable for me, my husband has a bad back, and likes the Trifold better. Foam is very dense and he says his back hurts much less after sleeping on this one.
