Queen The queen size foundation we purchased arrived folded in half and compressed in a box to approximately one half the size of the bed in both length and thickness. It is light enough and small enough for two small people to handle easily. My wife and I removed it from the box, placed it on the bed frame, unfolded it in the middle and it popped into shape and locked open. This was a lot easier than we thought it would be and very sturdy. This foundation is completely covered so it looks feels like the heavy box springs used with a regular mattress but it is a lot lighter in weight. It beats the heck out of those heavy foundations and platforms that are sold at the mattress stores. This is a great product at a great price. We are completely satisfied with our purchase and would recommend it to anybody that needs a foundation for a memory foam mattress... Read more

Then, simply put it on the frame, unfold it and sit on the middle. The foundation locks in place. That's it. Has not made a noise, like one might experience with a wood foundation. In summary, it is a good quality, easy to assemble, American-made foundation at a great price.
